Daniel Klose secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning three of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.
Klose, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, won three matches from five to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, as he recorded victories over Ryan Murray, Greg Ritchie and Peter Jacques, with defeats coming against Mark McGeeney and Rob Collins, to finish on 24 points from a possible 30.
Elsewhere, Rob Collins and Greg Ritchie will compete in Group B, as the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively, with Collins ending on 16 points and Ritchie ending on 14 points. The duo will be joined by Robert Thornton, Stephen Burton and Ryan Palmer.
Despite also ending on 14 points overall, Ryan Murray will compete in Group C, after finishing 4th and behind Ritchie on leg difference, with Peter Jacques finishing 5th on 12 points and Mark McGeeney finished bottom on 10 points. The trio will be joined by Martin Adams and debutants Jordan Brooks and Janis Mustafejevs.
Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
