The Amateur Darts Circuit has announced a brand new Women’s Tour that will take place from 2023 onwards. The announcement comes hot on the heels of the news that Claire Stamper would be joining the organisation to head up the development of the Women’s side of the ADC offering.
Again the options available to amateur players are increasing rapidly with the women’s game gaining momentum at all levels and within all codes/organisations.
Initial impressions indicate that the Women’s Championship Tour will follow the model of the Winmau Championship tour ( Open field) that was so popular in 2023. The 6 announced events carry a total prize fund of £8,500 and the opportunity to qualify for a special MODUS SuperSeries/Live Lounge Event.
Impressively in addition to the backing of Winmau sponsorship has already been secured in the form of an agreement with LP Metal Detecting who will be an associate sponsor of the Women’s Championship Tour.
The company, which is one of the UK’s leading providers of metal detecting equipment, has entered
a commercial partnership with the ADC, which starts with immediate effect. They currently sponsor high-profile players and have a great interest in the game already.
“We are thrilled that LP Metal Detecting has partnered with the ADC. Having their support will allow us to take the amateur game to the next level and provide ambitious darts players the best environment to play in. As we share the same passions for the game, I am looking forward to a successful partnership”Scott Hunt of the Amateur Darts Circuit
