Andreas Harrysson, Reece Robinson, Conor Heneghan, Darius Labanauskas and Cam Crabtree all secured their places in Saturday’s Champions Week finale on Friday.
The five will battle once again on Saturday night after coming through their respective groups at the Modus Super Series, to join Beau Greaves, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Harrysson, who entered Friday’s play on 6 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall, after winning four of his five matches.
The methodical Swede recorded victories against Andrew Davidson, Reece Robinson, Ciaran Teehan and Bradly Roes, with his only defeat coming against Neil Duff, to end on 14 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Reece Robinson also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, edging past Andrew Davidson, who missed out in 3rd due to leg difference, whilst Neil Duff finished 4th on 10 points, Ciaran Teehan in 5th on 8 points and Bradly Roes bottom on 4 points.
In Group B, Conor Heneghan topped the group overall, after winning three of his four matches, as he recorded victories against Cam Crabtree, Jimmy Van Schie and Darius Labanauskas, with his only defeat coming against Bradley Brooks, to end on 12 points from a possible 16.
Elsewhere, Darius Labanauskas and Cam Crabtree also progressed through to Saturday’s finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Labanauskas ending on 12 points and Crabtree on 8 points, whilst Jimmy Van Schie finished 4th on 6 points and Bradley Brooks bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Champions Week with the six players battling it out for the £25,000 top prize, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
